Room acoustics is a central topic in the comprehensive design of modern working spaces – and this is also why they play a central role at ORGATEC 2012. The Acoustics Competence Centre is a point of interest for all who are involved with the topic of office acoustics – attractively located on one of the main pathways in hall 10.1.The Acoustics Competence Centre consists of three areas: A manufacturer-neutral, central exhibition space, exhibition modules of participating sponsors, and the marketplace where companies can present their acoustics solutions in »showrooms« set up for the purpose. The central exhibition space also features knowledge kiosks that explain the elements of room acoustics as part of a presentation with the theme »Understanding Acoustics«. With the exhibition modules, sponsors can present their products and solutions for motivationand performance-boosting acoustics. Tours and lectures on the topic of »Understanding Acoustics« make use of these presentations.
Beyond this, companies can present themselves and their products and solutions in their own showroom as part of the Acoustics Competence Centre. Extensive communications resources prior to, during and following the event ensure that participants will not go unnoticed by visitors of interest to them.
