Performance & wellbeing: the potential of high-quality lighting in new working environments

This presentation examines the role of high-quality lighting for performance and wellbeing in modern working environments. It shows how innovative lighting concepts such as Human Centric Lighting (HCL) can support the changing requirements of new working environments. The quality of light and its influence on mental health and productivity in the workplace plays an important role here. The presentation shows the potential effects that workplace lighting in modern working environments can have on the well-being of employees. In addition, strategies for optimising lighting in the context of modern occupational health and safety will be presented, which should be taken into account during planning in order to support both performance and health in contemporary working environments.
