Focus Areas at ORGATEC 2024

ORGATEC 2024 introduced an innovative trade fair concept with a complete restructuring of the hall layout. The "Focus Areas" were located in the center of the hall and offer insights into trends and developments related to the future of work. Exhibitors presenting products and solutions on the respective focus topic were positioned around these highlight areaa. This marketplace concept enabled optimized and topic-oriented guidance of visitors, created an extended exhibition area and offered plenty of space for inspiration and exchange on the design of tomorrow's working world.

Focus Area #TheCircularHouse

The "CircularHouse" concept developed together with CADEMI at ORGATEC offers a comprehensive insight into the Circular Economy. The focus will be on the topics of "Design & Production", "Service & Services", "Utilization & Business Ideas" and "Logistics & Mobility". Visitors can expect a 500 m², future-oriented world of experience with innovative, circular solutions for the office furnishing industry and beyond. Inspiring keynote speeches, in-depth discussions and a tour through the future of the world of work will present the pioneering impact of circular product, service and business models.

In the Focus area #InspiredAugmentedOffice, ORGATEC and zgoll GmbH will be presenting specific best-practice examples and trends, from hybrid meetings and spatial computing to the future of mixed and augmented reality in smart work environments. Visitors can experience and photograph this with MR headsets or their own mobile devices, gaining insights into current best practice approaches for hybrid meeting rooms and the future prospects of mixed reality collaboration rooms.

During this year's ORGATEC, the focus will be on indoor and outdoor lounges on the Boulevard Mitte and Boulevard Nord of the Cologne exhibition grounds. In addition to the Focus Areas, groundbreaking conferences, inspiring exhibitions, award ceremonies, and numerous opportunities for personal exchange are part of ORGATEC 2024. Another highlight is the "Wherever Whenever – Work Culture Festival" organized by the Industrial Association for Office and Work Environment (IBA). Halls 6 and 9 will be transformed into an "Event Floor" with inspiring lectures, panel discussions, workshops, experiential spaces, and exhibitions, serving as the central hub for professionals from around the world.

ORGATEC 2024, besides showcasing product innovations, trends, and innovative solutions, promises a comprehensive trade fair experience that actively inspires participants to shape the workplaces of tomorrow.
