Why the office remains a good place to work

The value of a company is its employees. The shared culture is the value for all those who belong to it. It needs a place where it can be lived. The home office is a place of retreat that many people lack in the office. The virtual space helps us to come together across distances. But it cannot replace human interaction. In disruptive times, we need more community again.  

People's longing for peace and quiet remains a basic need. At the same time, effective communication and interaction within the group are key to innovation, identification and success. Both require a suitable place and appropriate conditions. The office can and should fulfil these requirements in order to meet current needs and to recognise and appreciate the added value. Actively adapting the space, taking quiet and interaction into account, is key to ensuring that employees are not too far removed from the core of the organisation.
