The event
In today’s work environment, the traditional office has lost its dominating role. Many employees prefer flexible working models and are reluctant to return to the office. Why is this the case, and how can companies respond? In our discussion, we bring together the physical and digital worlds to explore these questions and develop solutions collaboratively.
The discussion will delve into why employees no longer come to the office and whether it’s even necessary to bring them back. We will examine which tasks truly require in-person presence and which can be just as effectively completed remotely. Are offices still relevant, or should companies fully transition to flexible working models?
A particular focus will be on the role of IT. How should IT infrastructure be designed to enable seamless and productive work, whether in the office or at home? We will present best practices and innovative approaches that meet the demands of modern work environments.
At the same time, we will explore how space design can enhance the attractiveness of the office. What do offices need to look like to adapt to the constantly changing needs of employees?
In this discussion, we aim to share current insights but also engage in a critical debate on whether key stakeholders—be it companies as employers, manufacturers of digital and physical office products, or their respective distribution partners—are truly on the path to an innovative future or not.
