The event
Circular Building
A paradigm shift in the construction sector is inevitable given its impact on resources and the climate. Circular construction is no longer an option, but a necessity. But how do we organise the transition from linear to circular construction? This one-day event is dedicated to the question of ‘how’.
Together, we will shed light on how closed material cycles can be realised, especially in the design of working environments, and what role the continued use of existing buildings, digital documentation and local structures play as regional eco-systems. We will also discuss what adjustments need to be made to legislation, standards and funding programmes in order to establish circular construction across the board.
Architects and interior designers are key decision-makers in this process. Their influence on the carbon footprint of reuse projects will be discussed, as will the successful transfer of knowledge in the field of circular planning. We invite you to explore best practices with us and shape the construction industry of the future together.
This day will be curated and moderated by our CADEMI partner Concular - the established market leader for circular real estate.
