Visitor registration now open for the third edition of ORGATEC TOKYO
An impressive gathering of some 150 leading brands from across the world in a significantly expanded showcase
ORGATEC TOKYO 2024 is gearing up for its third edition, and visitor registration is now open. With each edition, the event has grown significantly. Today the dynamic forum attracts almost 150 leading brands from Japan and around the world, including ITOKI, OKAMURA, KOKUYO, UCHIDA YOKO, PLUS, ACTUS, Inaba International, Karimoku Furniture, Knoll, UniFor and IIOI°. The resounding success of ORGATEC TOKYO reflects the industry’s interest in its themes and concept. It is also a mark of the high quality of the event, which has grown considerably by attracting new exhibitors each year while also maintaining a loyal following of returning exhibitors.In response to the enthusiastic reaction to ORGATEC TOKYO 2023’s central theme, [SHIFT DESIGN], the upcoming edition of the trade fair will take this idea forward by diving deeper into the potential and appeal of excellent design. Going beyond mere aesthetics, functionality, style and beauty, excellent design has the potential to shape the future. ORGATEC TOKYO thus aims to bring together creative professionals from the fields of furniture and interior design to promote innovation, improve efficiency in the workplace and look ahead to the future of work.
Materials development and sustainable resources will be another focus topic at the event with the CIRCULAR MIRAI (CIRCULAR FUTURE) special event area. It will highlight the urgent need to reduce waste through the application of circular thinking in all areas of economic activity. Adopting this approach is an essential cornerstone of the society of the future. Drawing on the principles of the circular economy, the special event area will showcase the latest products for office design based on circular materials under the banner of “Materials for Creating a Circular Future”. Further focus topics in the special event area will be Waste and Resources, Processing Materials from Manufacturing Processes, and Upcycled Products.

150 führende Marken aus aller Welt auf deutlich vergrößerter Ausstellungsfläche
Die Vorbereitungen für die diesjährige ORGATEC TOKYO vom 29. bis 31. Mai 2024 gehen in die Zielgerade. Ab sofort können sich Besucher für die dynamisch wachsende Veranstaltung registrieren, die bereits mit ihrer dritten Ausgabe eine Ausstellerschaft anzieht, die ca. 150 führende Marken aus Japan und der ganzen Welt umfasst, darunter Namen wie ACTUS, Inaba International, ITOKI, Karimoku Furniture, Knoll, KOKUYO, OKAMURA, PLUS, UCHIDA YOKO, UniFor und 1101°. Der durchschlagende Erfolg der Fachmesse ist Ausdruck sowohl des großen Interesses der Branche an Thematik und Konzept der ORGATEC TOKYO als auch an der hohen Qualität einer Veranstaltung, die durch die Gewinnung neuer Aussteller von Jahr zu Jahr beträchtlich gewachsen ist und zudem bereits eine hohe Quote wiederkehrender Aussteller aufweist.Anknüpfend an das mit großem Interesse aufgenommene Leitthema der ORGATEC TOKYO 2023 („Shift Design“) wird die kommende Ausgabe der Messe ihren Blick auf das Potenzial und die Anziehungskraft exzellenten Designs richten, das – weit hinausgehend über Fragen von Funktionalität, Ästhetik oder Stil – über das Potenzial verfügt, einen zentralen Beitrag zur Gestaltung unserer Zukunft zu leisten. Vor diesem Hintergrund bringt die ORGATEC TOKYO Kreativschaffende in den Bereichen Möbel- und Raumgestaltung zusammen, die sich über innovative Ideen für eine verbesserte Effizienz am Arbeitsplatz austauschen und einen Ausblick in die Arbeit von morgen unternehmen.
Einen weiteren thematischen Schwerpunkt der Veranstaltung bildet die Sonderschau „CIRCULAR MIRAI“ (ZIRKULÄRE ZUKUNFT), in der die Nachhaltigkeit von Ressourcen und die Zukunft der Materialentwicklung beleuchtet werden. Im Mittelpunkt steht hierbei die dringend notwendige Reduzierung von Abfällen durch konsequente Anwendung des Kreislaufgedankens auf unser Wirtschaften. Ausgehend von den Prinzipien der Kreislaufwirtschaft werden hier die neuesten Produkte für die Büroausstattung auf Basis kreislauffähiger Materialien („Materialien für eine kreislauforientierte Zukunft“) vorgestellt. Weitere Themenbereiche innerhalb der Sonderschau sind „Abfall und Ressourcen“, „Aufbereitung von Materialien aus Fertigungsprozessen“ und „Upcycling-Produkte“.
